An interactive programme which takes participants through the values and mission statement of their company, identifying how best to achieve these values through processes developed to manage and measure performance.
We take an in-depth brief from the client and build a tailor-made programme around the existing processes, demonstrating practically how to use these processes.
KEY TOPICS
Values and mission statement: examine and discuss in depth how to ensure these are practised properly
Examine the processes whereby performance in the organization is managed
Examine the appraisal system, how to give as well as how to receive appraisals effectively
How to prepare appraisals
How to manage the results of appraisals
Role-plays are prepared and then carried out whilst being filmed. Congruent feedback is given by both the trainer, participants observing and those role-playing.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course participants will be able to:
be clear about their organisation’s focus and how best to achieve this through performance management
understand the processes in place and how to develop new processes that encourage and motivate as well as measure performance
know how to get the most of being appraised
know how to ‘follow-through’ after appraisals and maintain good performance management
This is a key programme which has benefits for both people responsible for performance management as well as for employees who have to do “the performing” and need to understand how to get performance management to work for them.
